Explore the art of watercolor painting in the serene setting of Ferns & Finds with professional artist Caitlin Allen. In this class, students will learn basic color mixing and brush handling techniques to create a nature-inspired painting. Caitlin will guide the class through practice exercises and provide individualized support for finding success with the medium. This class is geared toward beginner artists, but intermediate painters or enthusiasts are welcome! All art supplies will be provided to use during the class and participants will leave with a completed painting on premium watercolor paper.

CaitlinAllen (www.caitlinallenstudio.com) is an educator, painter, and ceramic artist. She developed her love for painting while studying Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. For eight years, Caitlin shared her passion for creativity as the visual art teacher at Principia Upper School in St. Louis. Now you can find her working from her home studio, teaching workshops focused on watercolor, oil painting, and ceramics, or tending to her garden with her husband Joel.
